KGF star Yash is one of the well-known actors of Indian cinema. The success of his pan-India film KGF, based on the Coral Gold Fields, brought him widespread acclaim. After the success of the second installment of the Kannada film, reports suggest that Yash will play the role of Ravana in his next film. If reports are to be believed then Yash will play the role of Ravana in Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious project Ramayan. He will play the antagonist opposite Ranbir Kapoor, who is said to be Ram’s essay. Fans are eagerly waiting to see Yash as Ravana in the magnum opus based on Hindu mythology. Earlier Hrithik Roshan was supposed to play the role of Ravana but he turned down the offer. A source close to Pinkvilla informs that Yash may play the role of Ravana in Madhu Mantena and Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan. The source added that Yash has a definite vision in mind and is planning to do a stellar role. The actor is getting scripts across industries and has finalized 4-5 scripts which could be his next projects. One of these is Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. According to the source, Yash is extremely impressed with the pre-visualisation of the film and has been engaged in discussions and meetings with the team. Within the next two months, he will take a call on his immediate next project. Unsurprisingly, Ramayan was announced in 2019 by Madhu Mantena and Nitesh Tiwari. The makers are keen to bring Yash on board and if the actor agrees then it will be one of the biggest collaborations in Hindi cinema. Ramayan will bring together some lead actors to make it a magnum opus.
