The clash between Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan has proved to be really disappointing from the box office point of view. With both the stalwarts going face-to-face, trade experts were expecting some kind of excitement among the movie buffs. However, the results so far have been quite surprising.

According to trade reports, both the films have registered an occupancy of 5-7% Shows average across the country in the morning. It can be called brutal drops compared to yesterday 18-20% occupancy

It is clear that both Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan have been completely rejected by the audience and by the end of the day, we might get to see a really shocking figure. Let’s hope something miraculous changes from the evening show onwards.

During this, Aamir KhanLaal Singh Chaddha, which is a remake of the iconic Hollywood film Forrest Gump, has received a thumbs up from the Academy.

The official Twitter account of The Academy, which recognizes excellence in the cinematic arts and sciences, shared a video compilation of snippets from the film starring Forrest Gump and Aamir Khan. A tweet from the Academy called the Bollywood film a “believable Indian adaptation”.
