In an earlier interview with BollywoodLife, Mallika Sherawat Opened up on how actresses like her are always targeted by trolls for doing bold scenes, but their male actors escape. “That’s the patriarchal system. Women are always targeted, not men. Not only in India, but all over the world. Men take everything, they get away from everything, it’s like this It’s like they (targeters) blame woman for everything. I don’t know why, but in India I think so. I also think, society was not developed, people will think differently. Also , the media earlier did not support such scenes (bold scenes), a certain section of the media. But now, the media is very, very supportive, especially towards women, and even the society has evolved. Now doing Frontal Nudity and it’s accepted, it’s considered very artistic.”
