The November 11 event, a showcase for documentary shorts, will include in-person and online screenings. This has previously happened in Washington, DC, where the network’s meet the Press is based. On November 11, NBC News Now. will stream a special version of meet press reports The program will be available on demand on Peacock, taking a look at the films that will be screened at the festival.
Moderating the panel will be Chuck Todd, Andrea Mitchell, Jacob Soboroff, Shaq Brewster, Ali Vitali and Morgan Redford.
This year the line up will feature more than 15 documentary shorts, including an exploration of related themes, America as a land of promises, defending democracy, the nation’s racial past and the trauma of war.
