Mrunal Thakur Reveals Crying During Her Initial Days As She Was “Treated In A Certain Way” In The Entertainment Industry

Mrunal Thakur is all set to impress her fans and audience once again with the release of Shahid Kapoor starrer Jersey soon. During a recent chat, while promoting the film, the actress opened up about several things, including how she was treated in the beginning.

Talking about this, she admitted to going home and breaking up several times. She also spoke about the advice given to her by her parents during that time and why she is grateful for them. read on.

During a recent interaction with Bollywood Bubble, Mrunal Thakur opened up about her early years in the entertainment industry. Talking about it, she said, “When I was starting my career, there were times when I was treated a certain way and I would reach home and I was crying.”

Revealing his parents’ reaction to this, Mrunal Thakur said, “I told my parents that I don’t like it. They said, ‘Mrunal, think of 10 years. People will look at you. And will be so inspired that if that girl can make it, then main bhi kar kar karna yaar (I can too).’”

She further added, “I am very grateful to my parents that even if I didn’t have anything, my parents taught me to work hard and achieve it. I am very grateful.”

Mrunal Thakur started her acting career with the small screen before coming to the silver screen. while on TV, Thakur Acted in several shows including Mujhse Kuch Kehta Hai…Yeh Khamoshiyan and Kumkum Bhagya. She made her Bollywood debut in 2019 with Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30.

On the work front, Mrunal Thakur is preparing for the release of Jersey. A remake of the Telugu sports drama of the same name starring Nani, this Gowtham Tinnanuri-directed film stars Shahid Kapoor in the lead and Pankaj Kapoor in a pivotal role. The film was scheduled to release this Friday, December 31, but was indefinitely delayed due to O’Micron’s concerns.
