Pathaan Controversy: SRK and Deepika’s posters vandalised in Ahmedabad

Pathan’s posters have been vandalized in Ahmedabad. Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s film has been a target of criticism from right-wing groups for two main reasons. There are some who are opposing the name Pathan while some have objection to the saffron colored bikini worn by Deepika Padukone. The saffron bikini has become the main point of controversy. Bajrang Dal members raided the city’s Ahmedabad One Mall. They destroyed the poster of Pathan. The mall is located in Karnavati area. Now this video going viral is getting mixed reactions from the people. This is not the first time that Deepika Padukone is facing such protests for her film. Pathan is scheduled to release on 25 January 2023. Advance booking of the film will start from Sankranti. CBFC has asked the makers to revise the film and its objectionable scenes. The video has been shared by NDTV. Netizens have called out people for saying that this is anything but a peaceful protest. Others wondered how people found time to engage in such activities. Some have trolled him by saying that this is the result of unemployment in the country.
