‘Pictionary’ Game Show Cleared In 90% Of U.S. For Fall Launch

Illustrated, a syndicated game show based on mantel The party game, now cleared in 90% of the country, locking in the national launch of 2022, CBS Media Ventures And fox first run announced in a joint release on Monday.

CBS stations Sinclair, Nexstar, Tegna and Grey’s stations are the latest to sign on to air the strip, hosted by Jerry O’Connell. it was previously cleared by Fox Television Station On all Fox-owned stations, including WNYW Fox 5 in New York and KTTV Fox 11 in Los Angeles.

The half-hour show is produced by Fox First Run in association with Bills Market and Television Productions and distributed by CBS Media Ventures.

“Game shows continue to do well for stations, so they’ve really taken the opportunity to add a well-known brand like ‘Picturery’ to their lineup,” said Jonathan Bingman, EVP of sales for CMV. “We are excited to launch this franchise nationally.”

The show largely follows the rules of the game, which first went on sale in 1985. Two teams of three players each will consist of a celebrity captain. A player will draw images depicting the word or phrase found on a randomly chosen card, in an attempt to have his fellow teammates guess the correct word or phrase on the card. The grand prize winner will get a trip to a fascinating destination.

The program will be executive produced by David Hurwitz and Noah Bonet. Fred Sauley, SVP and GM of Mattel Television, and Phil Breman, VP Live-Action, serve as co-executive producers for Mattel.
