The period drama also stars Chiyaan Vikram, Sobhita Dhulipala, Trisha, Karthi and Aishwarya Lakshmi among others. Directors Mani Ratnam and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan also joined the team for the Hyderabad pre-release event. The actor, who plays the lead character around whom the film revolves, calls himself a 100 percent Aishwarya Rai Bachchan fan. From getting off the plane to reaching the venue before the release, he shared on his account. In the video, he is seen addressing the audience on stage and while interacting with the media, he admitted that he is a big fan of her.
