Prakash Jha is one of the most renowned filmmakers of the country who has given many hits to the audience over the years. His approach is very straightforward when it comes to interviews and his followers got to see a part of it again when he attended Goafest 2022. In the show, he compared Bollywood and Hollywood actors and was of the view that the actors in the industry left him completely disappointed.
For those unaware, Jha was earlier in the news when his previous web series, Ashram, starring Bobby Deol, debuted in 2020 and was renewed for a new season next year. During a part of the conversation, Prakash Jha indicated that he was unhappy with the way Indian actors worked and how he didn’t ask for certain details related to the film and its development. “I hated actors working in India. They don’t know what acting is. Till date, none of the actors asked me questions about shoot days, timing of shoot, location, action sequence etc. And this is the difference between Hollywood actors and Bollywood actors. The artists there attend workshops and keep on improving their art”, he said.
