Dayani was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the media and charitable group and has stepped down in what has been described as an amicable and planned transition. He will not be replaced as one of the founders of Archewell prince harry And meghan markle had long intended to assume full management of the enterprise.
According to a statement shared with Deadline, a spokesperson for Archwell said Dayani was brought on during parental leave and “she has continued to successfully shape (Archwell’s) vision and future.” (See full statement below.)
Dayani is an entrepreneur and advocate who previously worked with fashion guru Rachel Zoe and co-founded the non-partisan organization I Am a Voter. He also launched the podcast, the dissentersWith Debra Messing in 2020.
While news of her departure from Archwell comes days after the trailer for the six-part Netflix documentary series was released Harry and MeghanProduced by Archwell, Deadline understands the decision was made months ago.
Here is Archwell’s statement: “Ms. Dayani has been an integral part of Archwell and we are grateful for her passion, commitment and leadership. Ms. Dayani was brought in during her paternity leave to take forward the company and its projects. He has continued to successfully shape his vision and future. Their transition was mutually planned, with the intention of the Duke and Duchess to now have full leadership of their company. There will be no replacement for the post, and Ms Dayani has been fully supportive of the Duke and Duchess in their new leadership roles, and they remain friends.
