Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran’s revenge thriller ‘Khalifa’ is to be shot in Dubai, Nepal and Kerala.

Produced by Yoodlee Films, the film is being directed by Vyasakh.

The tagline, ‘Vengeance will be written in gold’, predicts a high-octane revenge drama.

this is PrithvirajHis superhit collaboration with Vaisakh will be his second film in more than 10 years after ‘Pokkiri Raja’ and his next with writer Jinu V Abraham, who recently penned the script of ‘Kaduva’.

Siddharth Anand Kumar saregama India Limited says, “This is a very exciting big budget action thriller that will be shot in Dubai, Nepal and Kerala and is one of the most ambitious collaborations we have done. The shooting will start soon and we hope to bring it to the audience as soon as possible. Prithviraj Sukumaran, who will also be seen in Yoodlee’s crime caper ‘Kapa’ this year, says, “I have been a part of many action films but this is going to be extraordinary in terms of scale, budget and sheer ambition. The film is also produced by Jinu Vs Abraham, Dolvin Kuriakose and Suraj Kumar. Known for his work in Tamil hits like “Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru”, “Kaithi” and “Master”, Satyan Suryan will be the cinematographer of “Khalifa” while Shamir Mohammed will be the editor. Jake Bejoy will compose the music.
