Akshay Kumar is back with another film, this time, with the Aanand L Rai directorial. Raksha Bandhan, Advances for this family drama opened on Friday and the film sold around 18,000 tickets nationwide, earning around Rs. 35 lakhs for the opening day.
Out of a total of 18,000 tickets, approximately 9,000 tickets have been sold across three national chains – PVR, INOX and Cinépolis – with the remaining 50 percent coming from non-national chains. with title like Raksha BandhanIt is expected that this film will be the first choice for the audience on the day of release i.e. middle class and lower middle class family.
The advance indicates the beginning of Rs. 8 crores, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Raksha Bandhan Opens in the range of Rs. 9.50 to 11.50 crores.
