Raksha Bandhan Box Office Day 5 (Early Trends): Aanand L Rai’s family comedy-drama, starring Akshay Kumar in the lead, was one of the much-awaited films of this year. There were a lot of expectations attached to the film. Unfortunately, the film did not make an impressive debut at the box office.

Even though the film was clashing Aamir KhanKi Laal Singh Chaddha was expected to do well at the box office considering the festive release and was hoping to rake in some good moolahs. Although the film managed to collect on the opening day 8.20 crore,

Raksha Bandhan saw a dip after its opening day before subtly rising the next day. The Friday collection of the film was recorded here 6.40 crore And 6.51 crore To dare to do box office collection on Saturday 21.11 crore, The Sunday collection saw a slight jump in the collection, which just reached 7.05 crore,

The Akshay Kumar starrer saw a decline on Monday despite the Independence Day holiday. As per the early trends going on in Aanand L Raicollect film of 5.50-6.50 crore on day 5. it has scored 33.66-34.66 cr So far.

With these numbers still on the lower end, Raksha Bandhan will have to fight a serious battle to earn some more originals at the box office from today. The next big release is Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger which will release on August 25. So this Akshay Kumar starrer still has time to add some more numbers. The only thing is that the film has to do well on weekdays.
