Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Arjun Kapoor And Bollywood celebs paid heartfelt tribute to the veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, His demise in 2020 was a huge blow to the entertainment world. Rishi Kapoor’s last film Sharmaji Namkeen will release posthumously on OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. The film is the last film for which the veteran actor shot before he passed away in April 2020. Rishi Kapoor could not complete Sharmaji Namkeen and hence, some parts of the film have been shot by Paresh Rawal. As a tribute to the legendary actor, Bollywood celebrities came together and Rishi Kapoor indulged in an iconic hit of Om Shanti Om.
Apart from Ranbir and the celebs mentioned above, we also see ananya pandey, Tara Sutaria, Adar Jain and Siddhant Chaturvedi dancing on Om Shanti Om. He also matched the steps with the veteran actor’s original song. All the Bollywood celebs are seen in a back tee and denims, which they have paired with a silver sequin jacket, which matches the look of the veteran actor from the song Om Shanti Om. At the end of the video, we see the caption, “Heroes come and go but legends are forever.” Watch it below:
Coming back to Sharmaji Namkeen, the film also stars Juhi Chawla, Satish KaushikoSuhail Nayyar, Taruk Raina, Isha TalwarSheeba Chaddha and Ayesha Raza Mishra. Hitesh Bhatia has directed the film which is directed by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Honey Trehan and Abhishek Chaubey under the banner of Excel Entertainment, McGuffin Pictures. The exclusive global premiere of Sharmaji Namkeen will be on Amazon Prime Video on March 31, 2022.
