The actor was earlier seen personally distributing essential rations to the affected people on the ground, and providing them the necessary support during this challenging time.

Randeep Hooda shares why he decided to go on the ground to help the community. He told Hindustan Times, “People are not talking about this flood and how it is affecting people and animals in two states – Haryana and Punjab. That’s why I went to the ground myself, to create awareness and encourage the already motivated Khalsa Aid volunteers and people who have donated to help.’ Also the grassroots work is the best service I have admired in Khalsa Aid volunteers when I joined them a few years ago.
He further added, “I will continue to donate, support and bring to the public their tireless efforts to help those in need.”
Talking about the conditions in the affected area, Randeep also shared, “Haryana and parts of Punjab are completely submerged in water. Farms have become an ocean of water and people, especially those living in the middle of farms, have been isolated and it has become difficult to reach them for help. Volunteers have arranged boats, tractors and even swimming to bring relief to those in need. Some villages and even urban areas have been inundated. The problems of drinking water and basic needs and sanitation are huge, which can lead to even more harm to both humans and animals. Cattle feed and rescuing stranded animals is another problem that is being addressed.
This is not the first time that Randeep Hooda has shown his commitment towards social causes. In the past, he actively participated in relief efforts during the devastating floods in Kerala, where he was seen serving food to people in need. His willingness to extend a helping hand and use his platform to make a positive impact has earned him praise from both fans and fellow members of the film fraternity.
