I was actually shooting for another film, when the producer of ‘Tere Naam’ and one of me Very dear friend Sunil Manchanda came up to me and said that I have to go bald to get into my character. I was not really sure because I was already doing a film at that time and I still remember that one day There was fever, and the director of the second film was harassing me to join the shoot.”

“I rushed to the washroom and got my hair shaved due to irritation. Next day, I called Sunil ji and said that I have shaved my hair and am ready to sign up for ‘Tere Naam’. Everyone was really against me doing this film, but for some reason, I wanted to do it, and I played the role of ‘Radhe Mohan’ despite everyone’s disagreement.”
The actor also mentioned that Himesh Reshammiya He was given 13 songs for the film, but he could not take them all.
Salman said: “I remember Himesh and I in Galaxy discussing the film and when he heard the whole story, he immediately came up with a song. That was the title track of ‘Tere Naam’, and I immediately locked it. You won’t believe it, they immediately gave me four or five songs on the spot, and we couldn’t deny any of them, they were great.”
“This guy literally came up with 13 songs, none of which could be denied. But of course, we only had to choose seven because the film only demanded as much. The songs were so relatable that we Couldn’t even listen to it till the end and shut it down only after hearing the first ‘Mukhra’.
