The killing of Punjabi singer and rapper Sidhu Moose Wala has sent shock waves across the country. Shortly after, Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan received an anonymous letter threatening to kill them. Later reports revealed that the letter was sent by a gang member of Lawrence Bishnoi, who is also the prime accused in the rapper’s murder.

Bishnoi was recently arrested by the police and the matter is being investigated. During interrogation, the gangster confessed that he wanted to kill the superstar back in 2018 and even sent messages to his associate Sampat Nehra to kill the Dabangg star.

Now the latest report of News18 has revealed that Lawrence Bishnoi wanted to kill Salman Khan In 1998 chinkara poaching case in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The alleged incident happened during the shooting of Hum Saath Saath Hain. The gangster also said that the chinkara or blackbuck is dear to the Bishnoi community in Haryana, Rajasthan and Punjab.

The report quoted sources as saying that the gangster had instructed Sampat Nehra, who is now absconding, to be shifted to Mumbai to kill Salman. The latter also did recce around the actor’s house. Not only this, the gangster, through a person named Dinesh Dagar, ordered RK Spring rifle for Rs 4 lakh to kill the superstar.

The new rifle was ordered as Nehra had only a pistol and did not have a long-range firing weapon to kill Salman Khan from a distance. The payment was allegedly made to Anil Pandey, an aide of Dagar. This rifle was later recovered from Dagar’s possession in 2018.

Earlier, lawyer Hasti Mal Saraswat, representing Salman Khan in the blackbuck poaching case, had confirmed that he had received death threats. Lawrence Bishnoi the gang.
