Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are one of the closest friends of the Bollywood industry. They have stood by each other through their ups and downs. However, there was a time when the two were not talking due to their personal issues. Their differences escalated over the years and in an old interview, the Dabangg star even said that Shah Rukh is not his girlfriend. Scroll down to read the full scoop.

His ego clashed during the birthday party of Katrina Kaif, who was reportedly Salman’s girlfriend at the time, on July 16, 2008. Later, the Radhe star became close with Aamir Khan, however, she soon broke up with Kat.

Coming back to the topic, a few years after Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan had a heated argument, the Partner star claimed that he and Shahrukh Khan Can never be friends again. Sitting down for an interview with Komal Nahta, in her 2010 show, ETC Bollywood Business, Salman was asked about his old friend and does he ever remember him.

Responding to this question, Salman Khan said, ‘Shahrukh was not my girlfriend… doesn’t miss his old girlfriend, why would I do to Shahrukh? (Shahrukh was not my girlfriend… I don’t miss my ex-girlfriend for that reason, why would I miss her?)

Talking further about this, he said, ‘Shah Rukh and I don’t talk anymore. We had a misunderstanding and parted ways… There is no possibility of Shah Rukh and Salman coming together in future.”

Fast forward to today Salman Khan Shahrukh Khan will be seen making a special appearance in starrer Pathan. On the other hand, Shah Rukh will also make a cameo in Salman’s Tiger 3 which also stars Katrina Kaif. They are also in talks with Aditya Chopra to work on an untitled film together, which is set to go on floors in 2023.
