Coming to the old video, this is from an interview at the India Today Conclave in 2009, when Shahrukh Khan His response was asked whether his name was changed to Shekhar Radha Krishna, and would the change in name be any different in his present life? To this Shahrukh replied saying that it will not make any difference. The actor claimed that there has never been a moment in his entire career when he was made aware of his religion in India and even if they called him by whatever name, he would still smell sweet.

Elaborating on it, Shah Rukh Khan said, “I don’t think there would be any difference (if his name would have been different). I have never been aware of my religion in this wonderful country, through my profession, or otherwise. I find it very strange when I hear that too. I think artists have a tendency to transcend division. I think art and artists have that tendency because you really It doesn’t matter who belongs to which community, which sect, whether you like it or not. Whatever name you call me, I still smell sweet.”
