In the first 24 hours, the Hindi teaser of Pathan has garnered 1.13 million likes on YouTube. With this, it has become the most liked Hindi teaser on YouTube in the first 24 hours. The film has surpassed Prabhas’s Aadipurush (Hindi teaser), which was liked by 1.09 million viewers. Vikram Vedha is at the third position with 931K likes in the first 24 hours.

Yesterday, Pathan director Siddharth Anand shared that the idea behind dropping the teaser in secret was to celebrate Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday with his countless fans across the globe. “He has indeed been ruling the hearts and minds of the audience for decades and ‘Pathan’ marks his return to the big screen after a long gap of four years. So, when we decided to surprise all of them on their birthdays, the pressure to give was immense,” said Anand.
