It has been more than 10 days since the Narcotics Control Bureau arrested Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan in a cruise drug case. After his bail plea was rejected twice, Aryan Khan’s case came up for hearing on October 13 in a special NDPS court before Special Judge VV Patil. After hearing the matter till 5.30 pm, the court adjourned the matter for Thursday. After hearing the arguments, the court reserved the decision for October 20.
Last Thursday, Aryan Khan was sent to judicial custody and remanded at Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai. Today, the court hearing began with the ASG representing the NCB making its submissions. Opposing the bail plea of ââAryan Khan and others, the ASG said, “We will eventually find out how they all connected with each other and set up a case of conspiracy. It is not a bail matter at this stage. Consider it.” Can be done. An appropriate stage.”
Advocate Amit Desai, representing Aryan Khan, argues, “Without affecting the ongoing investigation, bail can still be granted. Since bail does not take away his right to continue with his investigation.”
Talking about the WhatsApp chat, Desai said, “Please keep one more reality in mind. Today’s generation has only one means of communication, which is English.. Not Queen’s English. Sometimes the older generation uses it. says torture. The way they communicate. Very different.”
âWhatsApp chat is considered a private conversation. But I am told that there is no message or conversation on mobile about the rave party.”
After hearing the arguments of both the sides, the court reserved its order for October 20. The court said that it is busy with other matters but is keeping all the three applications for order on the 20th.
The NCB had seized 13 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of MD (mephedrone), 21 grams of charas (small quantity), 22 tablets of MDMA (ecstasy) (intermediate quantity) and Rs 1,33,000 from the International Cruise Terminal in Mumbai. However, he had told the court that no drug was found on Aryan Khan, but he found a small amount of banned substance on the co-accused.
