After delivering great and memorable films in films, Shahid Kapoor is all set to foray into the digital or OTT world with two web series. He will debut with Raj & DK’s Farzi, and after that, he also has a series with Ali Abbas Zafar. Now, the actor opens up about exploring OTT and credits his digital debut to Manoj Bajpayee’s The Family Man 2.

Last year, the news of Shahid making his OTT debut came and fans were excited. Even before that show came out, another exciting news surfaced about his collaboration with Ali Abbas Zafar for a series. Shahid Fans are definitely in a treat and have recently opened up about the new world being discovered and more.

Speaking to Hindustan Times, Shahid Kapoor said, “I have been working for almost two decades now, and am now loving and watching OTT content. I put myself first as an audience member. I like to do what I love. If I watch a show or a movie, consume something, it is only a natural consequence that I will look for content that is similar.”

“That too in a completely different format, where people will see me in more than eight-nine episodes. i loved raj and dk The Family Man 2, He called me for a film, I asked if he had any show for me. They ‘really?’ went, and I said yes! It is exciting to collaborate with people who are at the top of their game, and in India they are the best,” said Shahid Kapoor, revealing what inspired him to take the digital route.
