After the stupendous success of Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor started getting many interesting projects. Among them was Bhushan Kumar’s Bull which is said to be an action thriller. The actors along with the producers were very excited to make this film, however, now things seem very different as the actor has claimed that the film is not happening yet and has been put on hold.
As per earlier reports, the film is set in the 1980s and is inspired by real-life events and marks the debut of director Aditya Nimbalkar, who has worked extensively with filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj.
Coming back to the subject, Shahid Kapoor in an interview with Pinkvilla confirmed the news that his upcoming film Bull has been put on hold. The actor shared that the film turned out to be a ‘logistical nightmare’ due to COVID as a certain amount was demanded to make it. However, the Jersey actor feels they will soon find out.
Shahid Kapoor said, ‘I don’t think it has been officially announced. Bullock is not happening right now because we were not even able to start it. it was because of a logistical nightmare covid, There are a lot of things that need to be explored as the film warrants a certain scale. So, we will have to sit and see whether it is possible to build a bull right now.”
Reportedly, the film was supposed to go on floors in early 2022 for over 8 months and the film was said to be high on VFX. Given the delay in the production process, Shahid’s Fans will have to wait a little longer to see him in an action film.
Earlier talking about the film, Shahid Kapoor had said, “Bull is a full blown action film inspired by the real events of Brigadier Bullsara’s life. It’s a privilege to play the role of a paratrooper who helps his boys in a quest. Takes you through the historic and selfless mission which has now become iconic for its accuracy and bravery. The opportunity to play the role of a paratrooper is exhilarating and an honor indeed.”
