Shamshera: Ranbir Kapoor talks about life after marriage; calls wife Alia Bhatt ‘dal chawal with tadka’

Ranbir who is known to keep things crisp and doesn’t reveal much about his personal life won everyone’s heart with his reply. He described the year 2022 as particularly wonderful because he married Alia after waiting for many years. Quoting his dialogue from Yeh Jawaani, he said, “The year of marriage has been very good for me. In my films I have always downplayed the importance of marriage and in one I have also called marriage as dal-chawal.” Hai Deewani, where he interestingly starred alongside his ex-girlfriend, Deepika Padukone. Ranbir further said, “Alia tadke ke ke del chawal hai. I couldn’t have asked for a better life partner,” he said with a gleam in his eyes and a grin. The actor is also missing his father Rishi Kapoor and expressed that he would have loved to see him in Shamshera avatar. Earlier, when the teaser was released, Alia Bhatt, expressing her excitement, had termed her husband’s look as ‘hot’. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor in important roles. There is a positive buzz around it and trade analysts are predicting that Shamshera has what it takes to lift the silence at the Bollywood box office when it hits the theaters on July 22.
