The entertainment industry lost another gem as actor Ghanshyam Nayak, known for his work in the television and film industry, breathed his last on Sunday after battling cancer. The actor was popular for playing the role of Nattu Kaka in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Tanmay Vekaria, known for playing the role of Bagha in the same show, shared that the late actor was in a lot of pain as he could not even drink water.
The demise of the veteran star has come as a deep shock to his fans and co-stars of the show.

I would often talk to his son and he would tell me he was in a lot of pain and Because of this he has gone mad. He was not able to swallow, eat or drink. He was suffering a lot so now in a way he is in the safe hands of God. May his soul rest in peace.”
Tanmay Vekaria said, “I will always remember Ghanshyam ji as one of the purest souls I have ever met in my life. I don’t think I will ever meet a person like him. He was a very simple person and I have never seen him speak ill of anyone. He always talked about positivity. He was very passionate about his work. I think God had some other plans for him. me and the whole taraki The family will miss him every single day.”
The Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam actor was cremated today, in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah along with actors like Munmun Dutta, Dilip Joshi, Bhavya Gandhi, Samay Shah, producer Asit Kumar Modi and director Malav Rajda paid their last respects.
Meanwhile, Tanmay Vekaria is sad to not attend Ghanshyam Nayak’s funeral as he is suffering from malaria and doctors have advised him complete rest.
