Choreographer Terence Lewis will be seen as a judge in ‘India’s Best Dancer’ Season 2 along with Geeta Kapoor and Malaika Arora. He says he literally has to be on his toes!
In “India’s Best Dancer 2″ we are looking for the ‘Next Avatar of the Best’. These days, social media has created awareness about different dance styles and even people across the country are making dance moves as one. I think people have realized how they can differentiate themselves and hence I believe ‘Best Ka Next Avatar’ is the best for Season 2. Aptly titled,” shares Terence.
Terence is back on the judges’ panel and he is quite happy about it as he says: “It feels amazing because last season was such a huge hit and we had some amazing talent. I will also say that I am sure this season is going to be even better.
Ask her about the challenges she faces as a judge on the show: “The hardest part is keeping myself updated with the different genres that these budding dancers come up with. Every look, every pattern needs improvisation, and the contestants make it even more special when they own it!”
“It’s about the minor details – the training, the landing, the style, the aesthetic, we as judges have to keep it all in mind as we watch them perform. It has to be perfect in terms of technique and the viewing experience.” should also tick all the boxes. There are current trends, songs and many more which we need to consider as a judge. It comes with great responsibility and all three of us try our level best to achieve it every time. But try your best.”
Terence shares his bonding with Malaika and Geeta on the dance reality show and says: “Geeta and I have always been best friends. Malaika was my student 20 years ago. Geeta and I have grown together in our careers and it feels very comfortable to share the tag of co-judge with both her and Malaika. We all share a wonderful bond and have a lot of fun. Sometimes production people have to specifically tell us to ‘keep calm’.”
