The American Black Film Festival (ABFF) Announces Festival Award Winners; ‘Our Father, The Devil’ And’ Feels Like Ghost’ Win Big

2022 American Black Film Festival (ABFF) today announced the winners of the Best ABFF Awards.

Hosted by three-time Emmy-nominated actor and writer Dondre Whitfield, the presentation was an on-point wrap up of the five-day festival with the producer/director/actress. issa rae Acting as Festival Ambassador.

The 26th annual festival returned live in Miami on June 15–19 and continued almost until June 30 with independent films, the Best of the ABFF Awards, and more programming on its custom-designed online platform. ABFF PLAY,

The Best of ABFF Awards includes winners in the Official Film Selection categories – Fiction and Documentary Features, Web Series and the 25th HBO Short Film Awards Showcase, as well as national casting and writing competitions in its talent pipeline program.
