“There’s a lot of goodwill to Nick, and people want him to succeed. We thought, What is he really like as a person?”, said Tom Gormiken, speaking of his inspiration behind the film.

“He’s become a cultural figure. As culture gets stranger and stranger and fashion choices get more bizarre, you can walk like a straight line to Nicolas Cage, the patron saint of weirdness. Seeing his face only people become happy, It’s really interesting and inspired me to dig more and find out who he really is. ,

On shooting with the talented actor, Gormiken concluded by saying: “Nicholas loved acting opposite himself. There’s no better scene partner for Nicolas Cage than Nicolas Cage.”
