based on bernard cornwell History of SardarsThe series, which has just debuted in the UK, stars Ian de Caestecker as Arthur Pendragon. It follows the adventures of Pendragon as he grows from outcast to great warrior and leader.
Eddie Marsan plays High King Uther, Ellie James is Nimue, and Nathaniel Martello-White plays Merlin.
New cast members include Jordan Alexandra (mammals) as Guinevere, “the exacting, beautiful and ambitious exile-princess of Hennis Viren”;; Steven Elder (King) as Bishop Bedwin, the “deeply kind and friendly Bishop of Dumfonia”; and Andrew Gower (outlander) as Sansum, “the staunch novice of Bishop Bedwin, who wields great influence over the Christians of Britain”.
Aniryn Hughes is also joining (dream horse) as Gorfydd, “the ruthless leader of Powys, a traditional enemy of Dumonia”; Emily John (my policeman) as Senwyn, “the sought-after princess of Powis”; Tatjana Nardone (devils) as Ladvis, “a wild pagan and warrior, and rebellious lover to Gundalius”; and Ken Namosu (murder eve) as Sagamore, “a fearsome warrior who is Arthur’s friend and brother-in-arms”;
Billy Postlethwaite (Chernobyl) would play Cadwys, “a shrewd and shrewd warrior-king with a devoted tribe”.
