The buzz around Spider-Man 4 with Tom Holland is filling the air as fans want to see the actor as a superhero again, especially after No Way Home. This raises the question of who’s making it, and Sam Raimi, the director of Tobey Maguire’s Spidey films, says he definitely wouldn’t do it for a hilarious reason.

Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield entered the MCU through cameo roles in the most recent Spidey film, No Way Home. Previously, it was rumored that there might be a fourth installment with Tom and Zendaya starting as well. It was also that it would be directed by Jon Watts.

So, even though Sam Raimi didn’t pick Spider-Man 4 with Tom Holland because Tobey Maguire would break his neck, there are many other equally talented directors in the MCU. Stay tuned to Koimoi for more information!
