Actor Tom Hooper felt like he was “going through a game” when shooting zombies in the face in scenes for ‘resident Evil:Welcome to Raccoon City’.
Hopper said: “There’s something quite satisfying about (shooting a zombie). There’s a real looking zombie with the coolest makeup in the world, walking towards you and you shoot him. He reacts.” Is.”
“When you are shooting these things it is quite real because you feel like you are going through a game, more so because they made the sets feel so nostalgic. Being a fan of the game, I was like, ‘This is too bad.'”
Hopper is excited that’raccoon City’ It might be the first time out of many that he plays Wesker.
He told SFX magazine: “I’m very open to talks on what we can do with him. The idea of playing this character and moving from its core to the first film we did, made me think with him.” Looks really interesting with different things.
“I’d also like to have the idea that he’s not an outlandish villain. I’m so interested in the way Johannes wrote this version of Wesker.
Hopper hopes that he is able to “humanize” the villain.
He added: “Wesker in the game is pretty two-dimensional in terms of ‘he’s the villain’.
It’s all about, ‘I’m going to screw you all’ and the audience already knows it. You just know this guy is no good.
“Whereas, playing with Wesker, I wanted to humanize him and make sure his intentions were driven by personal gain, but there is a soul there. There is one person who is a friend of these people. I ground him.” Wanted to take it off and make her feel like a real person. But, at the same time, almost like you just didn’t see it coming.”
