Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar finally hits a century at the Indian box office (net collection). The feat has been achieved in 11 days, which is impressive. Shah Rukh Khan returns with a bang, after Pathan it has now become Bollywood’s second 100 crore earner in 2023.
Helmed by Luv Ranjan, the rom-com opened to highly positive reviews from critics. However, word of mouth among the public was mixed. Despite this, the film has done well till now by crossing the 100 crore mark even before completing its second weekend run.
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar saw a noticeable drop on its second Friday as its screens were split between DC’s Shazam 2, Rani Mukerji. Mrs. Chatterjee v. NorwayKapil Sharma’s Zwigato and Upendra’s pan-India film, capture, The need of the hour was to pick up the pace today and the rom-com has done exactly what it needed to do.
As per the early trends, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar is earning Rs. 5.30-5.60 Crore After a decent opening at 11 am, the film did really well in the evening and night shows, thus registering a healthy jump as compared to yesterday. 3.75 crores*, 11-day total is now somewhere in between 101.49-101.79 cr,
Now, the stage is set and the film is expected to hit the screens again tomorrow.
