Actress Vidya Balan is returning to the cinema halls after a gap of 4 years with her film ‘Niyat’. The actress revealed that her director and producer are very important before signing a film.
When Vidya Balan does something on screen, it is definitely different and amazing. The actress is all set for her next theatrical release ‘Niyat’ which is a murder mystery. Recently at a press conference held for the film in Mumbai, he talked about what made him say yes to the film.
Vidya Balan said: “I am a very impatient, restless, easily bored viewer. When I read something I ask myself: “Would I like to see it on the screen?” Post that obviously if the character calls for me, the overall script works for me. The director of the film is very important. Producer too. You can only make the right film with the right kind of producer.
Sharing her experience of working on the film, Vidya Balan said: “I enjoyed working with Anu in Shakuntala Devi. We were thinking what to do next and then she came to me with this script. After reading the script for the first time, I had no questions.
Returning to theaters after four years, she said: “I always feel excited and nervous before my film’s release and I can’t tell the difference. Yes, I am very grateful to the people who have high expectations from me and I hope ‘Niyat’ also lives up to their expectations.
‘Niyat’ is a murder mystery directed by Anu Menon and produced by Vikram Malhotra under Abundantia Entertainment amazon prime video, It stars Vidya Balan as well as several actors Ram KapoorRahul Bose, Dipannita Sharma, Shashank Arora, Shahana Goswami, Neeraj Kabi, Amrita Puri and Niki Aneja Walia.
The film is scheduled to release in theaters on 7 July 2023.
