Vikram Vedha Box Office: It Is Just Above Mohenjo Daro Amongst Hrithik Roshan’s Top-10 Week One Openers

Box Office – Vikram Vedha is just above Mohenjo Daro in Hrithik Roshan’s Top-10 Week One Openers (Picture Credits: Poster)

Mohenjo Daro released 6 years back and after a week of opening, it managed to last for a week at the box office before crashing completely. Now Hrithik Roshan’s Vikram Vedha has outperformed him by earning a few crores more in the first week, what’s with its collection? 60 crores, Mohenjodaro was only successful in making a half-century at the box office. 51.18 crore, now Vikram Vedha relatively better. However, still the collection is very less as compared to his Super 30 and Kaabil.

Here’s what it looks like in Hrithik Roshan starrer Top-10 Week One:

War – 208.05 crores

Krrish 3 – 166.52 Cr

Bang Bang – 128.03 crores

Agneepath – 91.05 crores

Kaabil – 79.60 crores

Super 30 – 75.85 Cr

Vikram Vedha – 60 crores*

Mohenjodaro – 51.18 crores

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara – 45.40 crores

Kites – 40 Crore

In terms of lifetime collections, Vikram Vedha has actually surpassed Mohenjo Daro already as that film earned 58.50 crores. However, from then on it will find Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara to compete. Thin layer had continued to collect well over a period of time and had collected 90.27 crores. It seems quite difficult that Vikram Vedha will be able to overcome this.

This means that eventually Vikram Vedha will be Hrithik Roshan’s eighth highest-grossing film of all time. Now it will be quite a bit because at least, his latest release should have found a place in the top-5 by at least crossing Agneepath’s lifetime of 115 crores, which is a long way off.

*Estimate. Waiting for the final number. (All collections according to production and distribution sources.)
