Rumors had a strong buzz that the makers of Vikram Vedha starring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan would unveil the trailer of the film alongside Aamir Khan’s latest release Laal Singh Chaddha. The film which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya hit the screens on August 11. Ahead of the release, netizens called for boycott of the film due to Aamir’s old controversial statements about India.
For Unverse, reports suggested that Hrithik and Saif’s first Rush will be done with Laal Singh Chaddha, but just before the release, the makers decided otherwise.
While many are wondering why the trailer of Vikram Vedha was not shown with Laal Singh Chaddha, what the latest report reveals. According to a report in ETimes, just before it was taken with the Aamir Khan starrer, when the makers saw the trailer of the film, they felt it needed to be remade.
The report said, “Team ‘Vikram Vedha’ saw the final trailer and felt that it needed to be remade. The film turned out very well. So the team wanted the trailer to come out all guns blazing. That the film may need a little more editing to make it crisp and hence the trailer may have to be remade. So they stopped it from releasing on August 11.”
Vikram Vedha Star Hrithik Roshan Was in news recently when he extended his support for the Aamir Khan starrer. Taking to his Twitter handle, he wrote, “Just saw Lal Singh Chaddha. I felt the heart of this film. Plus and minus aside, this movie is just fantastic. Don’t miss this gem guys! Go ! Go now watch it. It’s beautiful. just beautiful.”
However, Hrithik Roshan’s tweet backfired and netizens called for a boycott of his upcoming film. Vikram Vedha, The film is written and directed by Pushkar-Gayatri and is a remake of a South film by the same name.
