Woo InternationalThe largest privately owned cinema operator in Europe has appointed Stella David as its non-executive chairperson.
David, who takes up the position on January 26, currently holds the role of non-executive and independent director at Enten, Bacardi, Domino’s Pizza Group and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings.

David said it is an exciting time to join Vu as a cinema exhibition Reconstruction of the sector after the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Over the past 18 months, we have seen huge demand for the cinema experience and – with so many great films releasing later this year – this is an important moment for the industry,” she said.
One of the world’s largest privately owned cinema operators, Vue International currently operates 1,990 screens across 227 sites including the UK, Ireland, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Italy, Poland, Lithuania and Taiwan.
