Saif was actually supposed to make his Bollywood debut opposite Kajol in 1991, but was replaced due to his unprofessionalism. He met Singh during a photo shoot where he was so attracted to the actress that he asked her out on a date. Later Amrita asked Saif to come to his room instead of going out and both of them kissed after having dinner and slept in different rooms.

Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh both came to Simi Garewal’s show and talked about their meeting. Singh said, “He had spent 2 days at my house and had to go for the shoot. First he asked me Rs 100 as he did not have money. So, I said ‘Why don’t you take my car?’ Then Saif said that he has a production car waiting for him outside so he does not need my car.

Amrita Singh then revealed that she had offered her car to Saif Ali Khan which she politely declined as the production car was waiting for her but Actress Insist that she take his car so that he can come back and meet her. Talking about the same, the Betaab actress said, “No, take it. If nothing else you will at least come back to return the car.”

Talking about her relationship with Saif, Amrita said, “I could never have imagined that I would marry a man younger than me. Saif was the only person I met in my life, who was with me. Was patient. It meant a lot to me.”

The day when Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh tied the knot, she was already an established actress Bollywood While the actor was still struggling for work in the industry. The former couple has two children named Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan.
