The superstar returned to the silver screen with Siddharth Anand’s Pathan, which has created havoc at the domestic and international box office. Co-starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead roles, it broke all records and crossed the 850 crore mark worldwide. Pathan ended Shahrukh’s 4-year sabbatical, which he had taken after the debacle of Jab Harry Met Sejal and Zero.

Recently, we came across a throwback video of Shah Rukh Khan, in which he is seen speaking about box office failures and how he handles them. In the clip, which has been shared by one of his famous fan pages, he is seen saying that one’s kingdom does not go away as one has got so much love that one cannot take it away from him.

In the video, Shahrukh Khan is seen saying, ‘So the whole idea is that Badshah jo hota hai, woh daulat wale hote hai, main fakir hoon. I’ve never been someone who believed that ‘I want it all’. I never needed it, I had brought 1500 rupees, I will also go away with 1500 rupees. So much love has worked and so much name has worked that you cannot take away the kingdom of love from me. Commenting on the video, a fan of Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “Din aur raat dusne artist ke hote hoga, Shahrukh Khan is and will be,” while another said, “Well, he was good to his word…with a vengeance!”
