Shah Rukh Khan does not shy away from experimenting and this is clearly visible in the choice of scripts he has made over the years. Even though some of his films like Swades didn’t do well at the box office, it garnered a cult following over the years for its strong social message and commendable performances. A few years back, actor Aamir Khan also backed this notion by slamming the trolls who spoke against Shah Rukh’s Ra.One.

For the oblivious, Ra.One is an action-drama film that hit theaters in 2011. There was a lot of hype around the film as a huge investment was made Red chilly entertainment as part of the film’s budget but when the film actually released, the audience was quite disappointed with its offering. The movie was about a mighty game that descends in real life, causing massive destruction in the city. Apart from Shah Rukh, it stars Arjun Rampal and Kareena Kapoor Khan in lead roles.

The film Ra.One also became the subject of jokes at a time when the internet had no place. So the audience was telling jokes in the form of mobile SMS and it seemed that Aamir Khan was not very happy with the trend and came to the rescue of Shah Rukh Khan as soon as possible.

According to the reports, Aamir Khan Said, “It hasn’t happened. I wasn’t at all happy with the jokes people were forwarding to each other on their mobile phones. They were in bad taste. Simply because the film didn’t do the business they expected.” Well, they can’t criticize the film and SRK. Why can’t they appreciate Shah Rukh Khan’s efforts? He at least dared to do something different.
