Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan starrer Zara Hats Zara Kids It continues to see good footfalls coming its way. Agar surprised one and all on the opening day with a collection of Rs. 5.49 crore, was even better on the second day at Rs. 7.20 crores. It’s just that this time it wasn’t surprising as the verbal cues suggest a good take on what works as a family entertainer and this is something that is working in favor of the film.
This is a growth of over 30% for the film and is pretty healthy considering the level it has already opened at. Post-pandemic, such growth is hard to come by even as the rupee opens on the lower side. 2-3 cr and here it is increasing, so when north start 5 cr mark. This also shows that the film has been really accepted by the audience and that a buy-one-get-free offer is helping it to an extent, and not enabling it, that’s the difference.
The Laxman Utekar directorial has earned Rs 1.5 crore so far. 12.69 crores and before release one would have expected it to be a full weekend score and even that is not to be considered bad. Today, the film should fetch Rs. 8-9 crore more. There is an outside chance to hit Rs. 10 crore mark but for that, the film will need to grow even better than yesterday and it will be a tough call. Nevertheless, the film is now coming into the profit zone and in today’s time, it amounts to a decent success.
